GROWERS

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Mega Kiwi is a very sustainable crop that yields more per acre than your average kiwi. These large fruits also use less pollinators, due to their 70% self-pollination rate.

CULTIVATION

Not only does the Mega Kiwi look and taste like no other fruit, it's also available when most other fresh fruits aren't. In California, harvest begins in late September, with most of the fruit being harvested in October and early  November. So you can be assured of having plenty of fresh, sweet Mega  Kiwi available for the winter and spring months! This varieties high fruitfulness, combined with low labor costs required to thin and harvest the fruit formulates a production cost that is approximately half that of the currently cultivated Hayward variety.
