Mega Kiwi Lime Spinach Smoothie

This smoothie is GOOD. Like - I could make this 3 times a week and still love it good.

This smoothie is jam-packed with all of the nutrient and vitamin goodness. Do you have a cold? This smoothie will kick it to the curb. Are you pregnant? It provides all the healthy nutrients you need to grow your baby, and will give you the energy to get through the day!

Ingredients:

2 ripe Mega Kiwi

1 cup fresh baby spinach

1/2 banana

1/2 cup orange juice

juice from 1/2 lime


Directions:

Peel and dice Mega Kiwi

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend

serve immediately!


Don't be afraid to sub out the orange juice with milk or soy/coconut products if you wish. I prefer juice!


This recipe will make one tall glass serving, so if you are making them for more than one I suggest doubling or tripling the recipe!


The best part? The great thing about this smoothie-- even kids will be more than happy to give it a go, and they won’t even know it’s got spinach in it, in case you have picky eaters who won’t even touch spinach. My 2 year-old drank this down so fast for breakfast this morning!
