Mega Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie

For on the go, or treating yourself to a midday snack.

For as long as I can remember, strawberry and kiwi have always been paired together. It just sounds right! This recipe is no exception, Mega Kiwi and strawberries are dynamite together in this smoothie.

Here's What You Need:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries (or fresh, see not below)

  • 1 Mega Kiwi, peeled and sliced

  • 1 banana (preferably frozen)

  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

I like to use fresh strawberries for this recipe, I just plan ahead. I take the fresh and puree them then freeze the puree. When I am ready to make smoothies I pop them in the blender with the rest of the ingredients!

It is important to use pure vanilla extract in this recipe. Anything else simply doesn't taste as good! I used a vanilla my mother brought back from her trip to Mexico. It's real vanilla, and it's REAL GOOD.



Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth. Add more liquid if needed.

  3. Divide smoothies between two glasses.
